Job description

Currently seeking a Front End Loader Operator who is responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy mobile equipment to support daily operations at a recycling facility. This position will load, transport, and move recycled raw materials, finished product, and other materials throughout the plant and yard while maintaining a safe, clean, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation

  • Safely operate a front-end loader to move recycled glass, cullet, raw materials, finished product, and other materials throughout the facility.
  • Load and unload trucks, hoppers, conveyors, stockpiles, and processing equipment as required.
  • Maintain proper material flow to support crushing, screening, sorting, and processing operations.
  • Build and maintain stockpiles while keeping materials properly separated and organized.
  • Monitor loader performance and report mechanical or operational issues to Maintenance or Management.
  • Perform routine pre-shift inspections and basic equipment checks.
  • Operate equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and company procedures.
