This is an Entry-Level position that will require the employee to perform any combination of the following duties within the quarry. Fill in at several operations as needed due to workload, vacations, or employee leaves. This position involves the maintenance and operation of conveyor, screening and crushing equipment, the operation of a front-end loader, for the purpose of loading aggregate materials. 

Requirements: 

  • Examines parts for damage or excessive wear 
  • Cleaning material from cars that are being returned 
  • Checking material being loaded for quality 
  • Being able to retrieve and write car numbers down accurately Shoveling and cleaning 
  • Load haul truck, load customer trucks, feed portable plant, stockpiling and load bins 
  • Operate haul truck and water truck 
  • Knowledge of mining equipment and their uses Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications 
  • Perform work associated with maintenance and loader operation to the highest safety standards.  
  • Maintain reliable attendance, meeting company standards, and maintain a positive attitude. 
  • Work will be performed per the supervisor's instruction, and in some cases, will be expected to be performed free from direct supervision without a compromise or sacrifice to safety, and without sacrifice to, quality of work tasks
