Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Front-End Loader Operator to join our team at a busy recycling facility in Gainesville, FL.

This is a hands-on position where sorting materials on the line is the primary responsibility, with equipment operation (front-end loader or skid steer) as needed.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent experience operating a front-end loader and/or skid steer, preferably in an industrial or recycling environment. Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate front-end loader and/or skid steer safely and efficiently
  • Sort recyclable materials (paper and co-mingled items) on the processing line
  • Assist with general labor tasks throughout the facility as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
  • Support the team in achieving daily production goals
  • Learn and apply knowledge of various entry-level roles within the facility

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of recent front-end loader and/or skid steer experience
  • Recycling facility experience highly preferred
  • Understanding of sorting procedures for paper and co-mingled materials
  • Willingness to take on multiple responsibilities and learn new tasks
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and goal-driven
  • Forklift experience is a plus (not required)
