Job description

Location: Seattle strongly preferred, exceptional remote candidates to be considered on a case by case basis
About Clarify
Clarify is building the AI-native CRM - a platform designed from the ground up for how modern go-to-market teams actually work. We raised $22.5M and assembled a team of ~25 people who believe the CRM category is overdue for a complete rethink: less manual data entry, smarter automation, and AI that actually understands your pipeline.
We're early and moving fast. The foundational decisions you make here will shape how the product scales.
About the role
You'll join Clarify as a Frontend Engineer, building the interfaces that bring AI to life for sales teams. You'll craft how users interact with LLM-powered features-conversational search, data enrichment, insights, and workflow automation. You'll work directly with founders to shape how AI surfaces in the product and set the foundation for our frontend architecture.
What you'll do
  • Create interfaces that build user trust in AI.
  • Architect frontend systems enabling team velocity and quality.
  • Define API contracts and data patterns across teams.
  • Establish performance standards for data-heavy AI interfaces.
  • Build component library and patterns teams adopt.
  • Create frontend infrastructure: tooling, testing, deployment pipelines.
  • Set architectural direction: state management, data fetching, routing.
  • Mentor engineers, establish best practices, unblock teams.
Your background
  • 5+ years building production web applications professionally.
  • Expert in React, TypeScript, and Next.js stack.
  • Experience building AI-powered or real-time user interfaces.
  • Strong frontend architecture: state management, performance, and data.
  • Comfortable with complex data structures and APIs.
  • Pragmatic: balance speed with quality when shipping.
  • Ship features: concept to production, testing, and monitoring.
  • Strong collaboration with designers, engineers, product stakeholders.
  • Startup experience: comfortable with ambiguity, changing priorities.
  • Bonus: Data visualization, tables, or command palettes.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a salary range of $150,000-$215,000 depending on level and location, benchmarked against market data for startups our size, plus competitive stock options with standard 4-year vesting and a 1-year cliff. Benefits include fully covered medical, dental, and vision for you (50% for dependents), a 401(k) with company match, flexible time off, and generous parental leave. We bring the full team together 2-3 times a year for offsites.
Our Seattle-based employees work from our Pioneer Square office three days a week. Outside of Seattle, we're a fully distributed team.
