Summary:
As a Front Desk Sales team member, you will be the first point of contact for members and guests while managing front desk operations. This role plays a key part in driving membership sales and introducing new guests to the CRG community. Responsibilities include greeting guests, providing facility tours, explaining programs and memberships, processing sales and check-ins, and maintaining a welcoming and organized environment. You will help create an outstanding CRG experience by delivering excellent customer service while supporting the growth of our membership community.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet members and guests and answer questions about the facility, programs, and memberships.
  • Actively promote and sell memberships, day passes, programs, and retail products.
  • Provide engaging tours of the facility and explain the benefits of CRG memberships and services.
  • Operate the RGP system for memberships, registrations, and sales transactions.
  • Process registrations, review all required forms and waivers, and issue climbing gear.
  • Facilitate instruction and orientation for new climbers.
  • Monitor the gym for unsafe practices and behavior not in line with fostering a welcoming environment.
  • Maintain a clean gym including changing filters, sweeping, mopping, spraying shoes, cleaning bathrooms, and tidying communal areas.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries.
  • Develop proficiency in top rope belaying and teach belay classes if working in a full-scale rope climbing location.
  • Support the team in maintaining a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:
  • Flexible schedule - ability to work nights, weekends, early mornings, and some holidays.
  • Friendly, approachable, and energetic personality.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and sales skills with the ability to confidently recommend memberships and programs.
  • Experience working with children and comfortable working around large groups of people.
  • Climbing specific knowledge is extremely helpful but not required.
  • Comfortable being at heights of 40+ feet and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of tasks.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
