Job description

Position Title: Front Desk Receptionist
The Front Desk Receptionist will manage various administrative tasks while providing exceptional customer service. This role is essential for creating a welcoming environment for patients in a medical setting. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish, as communication with diverse patients is crucial. Professionalism and discretion in handling protected health information are required. The role involves maintaining a positive atmosphere even during slower periods, which may arise due to telehealth appointments. A strong commitment to reliability and approachability is necessary for success in this position.
Salary Range: $50,000 / Year DOE
Front Desk Receptionist Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients as they arrive and ensure a smooth check-in process
  • Manage electronic medical record systems and documentation
  • Assist patients with consent forms and appointment scheduling
  • Provide metro cards to patients as needed and ensure it matches our records
  • Notify clinicians of patient arrivals
  • Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments
  • Open or close the clinic depending on the shift

Front Desk Receptionist Requirements:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Work fully on-site from 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM
  • High school diploma is required
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a receptionist in a professional environment, such as medical, legal, or financial services
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality practices
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Experience in behavioral health services is preferred
