Like shopping at Trader Joe's?  Then, maybe you'll love working with us.  We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator who is searching to do what they'll love!  Do you have experience in customer service?  Do you love food?  If so, read on!  We may have the role of a lifetime for you!

Trader Joe's is unlike any place you've ever worked.  Trust us on that.  The qualified Front Desk Coordinator has at least 1 years of Customer Service and office experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept.  A Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.  This role is based in our office in Boston, MA and we have an in office expectation of 5 days a week.

The Front Desk Coordinator  is responsible for:
  • Greeting guests, answering phones and serving as the welcoming face of the office.
  • Ordering and maintaining inventory for the supplies in the kitchen and restrooms. 
  • Sorting and distributing mail and packages.
  • Making appointments for maintenance of office appliances.
  • Balancing workload tasks with the other front desk crew. 
  • Assisting with special projects as needed.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments.
The Front Desk Coordinator has:
  • A professional, friendly demeanor.
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, organizational and time management skills. 
  • A strong record of punctuality and reliability. 
  • Attention to detail - if supplies are low, the Front Desk Coordinator already has a refill in order. 
  • Flexibility to adapt to different situations and a great attitude.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to drive the company car as needed.
  • Must be able to lift 20 to 25 lbs without assistance.
