Front Desk Receptionist/Optometric Technician

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist/Optometric Technician to join our team. This role is essential in providing an excellent patient experience while supporting both front desk operations and optical sales. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and is committed to delivering outstanding service.


Key Responsibilities

Front Desk Duties:

  • Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner

  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow

  • Verify patient information, insurance, and collect payments

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow

Optometric Technician Duties:

  • Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical history and performing preliminary testing

  • Assist the doctor during patient exams as needed

  • Clean, sanitize, and restock exam rooms between patients

  • Maintain accurate documentation in patient records

  • Support front office operations when needed (filing, faxing, scanning, transcribing, etc.)
