About the Role:
Courtyard by Marriott in Shelton, CT is looking for a friendly and motivated Front Desk Associate to join our team on the PM shift! This is a fantastic opportunity to be the face of a globally recognized hospitality brand while delivering exceptional guest experiences every evening. Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in/check out hotel guests with a warm, professional demeanor during PM shift hours
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
  • Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel property management system (PMS)
  • Manage cash handling, credit card transactions, and end-of-shift reconciliation
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Provide local area recommendations and assist with concierge-style requests
  • Ensure front desk area is organized, secure, and compliant with Marriott brand standards
Requirements:
  • Prior hotel front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
  • Availability to work PM shift hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
