About the Role:

Courtyard by Marriott in Shelton, CT is looking for a friendly and motivated Front Desk Associate to join our team on the PM shift! This is a fantastic opportunity to be the face of a globally recognized hospitality brand while delivering exceptional guest experiences every evening. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love making people feel welcome, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Greet and check in/check out hotel guests with a warm, professional demeanor during PM shift hours

Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously

Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel property management system (PMS)

Manage cash handling, credit card transactions, and end-of-shift reconciliation

Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction

Provide local area recommendations and assist with concierge-style requests

Ensure front desk area is organized, secure, and compliant with Marriott brand standards

Requirements:

Prior hotel front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred

Availability to work PM shift hours, including weekends and holidays

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency with hotel property management systems (Opera, Fosse, or similar) a plus

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a busy front desk environment

High school diploma or equivalent required

Positive, guest-first attitude with a team-oriented mindset
