Founded in 2009 and established on the pillars of ingredient quality, seasonally inspired and thoughtfully created menu offerings, complete scratch cooking from whole raw ingredients, and absolute genuine hospitality, Salt of the Earth has been an anchor of the foundation in the Farm to Table movement in West Michigan and has established itself as a leader of hospitality throughout the state of Michigan and beyond.

Positions are available from entry level to advanced.


A role with the nighttime kitchen line staff is an incredibly energizing experience filled with opportunities to make a real difference in the experience that our guests receive in their time dining with us.  We celebrate the opportunity to work together as a team to accomplish the common goal of supporting the needs of one another,and an investment in the skills necessary to take service cooking to a level higher than previously experienced in other establishments.


We celebrate foundational cooking methods at service and gratefully work with the highest quality ingredients available.

Qualifications

Applicants for service cooking must have an infectiously positive attitude, the ability to push focus and mental drive to the forefront, strong capacity for organization, and the desire to learn every single day.
