Role Description The Set Up Crew role is a contractual position responsible for preparing spa and wellness event spaces in New York City and Upstate areas. Responsibilities include transporting, organizing, and setting up spa decor and ambiance, arranging furniture and décor according to event standards; and ensuring all treatment areas are clean, safe, and ready for use. The Set Up Crew will follow checklists and event plans, coordinate with on-site staff, and assist with breakdown and removal of items. This role requires consistent punctuality, adherence to safety and hygiene guidelines, and clear communication with the CEO, COO and whoever they designate for specific

events.


Qualifications

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving equipment and furniture safely and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills, including following checklists, arranging spaces neatly, and maintaining orderly storage areas.
  • Attention to detail to ensure event spaces meet cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards for spa and wellness services.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, venue staff, and supervisors, both on-site and remotely.
  • Reliability and time management skills, including arriving on time for scheduled events and meeting setup and breakdown deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with readiness to be on-site
  • Basic familiarity with spa or hospitality environments is helpful; prior event setup or facilities experience is a plus.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions required.
