Job description

We're a specialized recruiting agency seeking a Word Processor to support a prestigious law firm in Fort Lauderdale. This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional with deep experience in legal document production and formatting.
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (On-site with hybrid flexibility)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (DOE, mid-$60s to mid-$70s) + full benefits
Employment Type: Non-exempt/hourly
Work Model

  • On-site required for the first ~90 days
  • After training, enjoy one remote workday per week
Top Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Word Processor in a law firm
  • Expert-level Microsoft Word skills, including redline/blackline, version control, and PDF management
  • Typing speed of 50+ WPM with high accuracy
  • Exceptional proofreading, grammar, and punctuation skills
  • Proven ability to format complex documents (styles, tables, templates) with precision
  • Comfortable using technology-enhanced workflows, including AI-assisted tools
