• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to develop and implement personalized therapeutic strategies.
• Provide evidence-based therapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, participating in case conferences and sharing insights to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and current clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training sessions, and staying up-to-date with mental health research.

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face a variety of mental health challenges. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Tranquil Trail, you will work with individuals and families experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship stressors. Your expertise will play a vital role in improving their mental health and overall well-being.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse clients.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling is highly favored.
• Experience in delivering group therapy sessions.
• A background in working with underserved populations is beneficial.
