Job description
SWE Homes and its affiliates havenearly 40years of success in the residential and commercial real estate market. As we continue expanding across Texas and other states, weremainfocused on operational excellence, growth, and entrepreneurial innovation.
The Loan Closer works closely with LoanOriginators and Loan Originator Assistantsto ensureloan files are complete,accurate, and ready for closing. This roleis responsible forreviewing loan documentation, preparing closing packages, coordinating with all parties involved in the transaction, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and investor guidelines. The ideal candidate isdetailoriented, organized, and thrives in afastpacedmortgage environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review approved loan files to ensure all underwriting conditions have been satisfied prior to closing.
- Prepare and review initial and final Closing Disclosures (CDs) for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate loan closings with borrowers, title companies, escrow officers, attorneys, and lenders.
- Verify loan documents, funding conditions, and closing requirements before scheduling closings.
- Ensure all loan documentation is complete,accurate, and compliant with company, investor, and regulatory guidelines.
- Review closing packages for completeness and resolve any discrepancies prior to funding.
- Communicate with Loan Originatorsand Loan Originators Assistantsto ensuretimelyloan closings.
- Track critical closing dates and maintain closing calendars to ensure deadlines are met.
- Obtain and organize final documents, includinghomeowner'sinsurance, title commitments, payoff statements, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate funding requests and confirm all closing conditions have been met prior to loan disbursement.
- Assistwith post-closing documentation as needed and ensure files are delivered for final review.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with borrowers and business partners throughout the closing process.
- Assistwithadditionalduties and special projects assigned by management to support overall team operations.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanishpreferred.
- Previousmortgage loan closing, processing, or funding experience preferred.
- Experience using Calyx, Encompass, or other Loan Origination Systems (LOS) is preferred.
- Knowledge of mortgage closing procedures, TRID regulations, Closing Disclosures, and mortgage documentation.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements and closing timelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office and document management systems.

- Exceptional attention to detail, including accuracy in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and document review.
