Entry-Level Solar Installer

Full-Time | Entry-Level
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

G Power Inc. is seeking hardworking, reliable individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Solar Installers. No solar experience is required. We provide on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement within a fast-growing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation of residential and commercial solar systems.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Assemble and install solar racking and solar panels.
  • Work safely on rooftops, ladders, and elevated work surfaces.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications

  • No experience required. Training provided.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.

Physical Requirements

This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to:

  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Climb ladders and work at heights.
  • Walk, stand, and move continuously throughout the workday.
  • Work on residential and commercial rooftops with varying pitches.
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead frequently.
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and direct sunlight.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety harnesses and fall-protection equipment.
  • Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day.
