As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Gotham Enterprises, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions via secure video chat, accommodating clients' schedules and preferences.
• Encouraging and guiding clients to openly discuss their emotions and life experiences to foster a safe space for healing.
• Assisting clients in setting achievable therapeutic goals tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.
• Identifying behaviors that may hinder recovery and employing strategies to mitigate these challenges.
• Providing expert advice on healthy coping mechanisms and self-care strategies to enhance overall well-being.
• Monitoring client progress throughout treatment, adjusting therapeutic approaches as needed to ensure effective outcomes.

Our client base consists of stable adults who have undergone thorough screening to ensure a suitable fit within our teletherapy platform. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of individuals, allowing you to apply your expertise to help those who typically may not engage in traditional in-person therapy. This includes individuals seeking support for issues ranging from stress and anxiety to more severe mental health challenges.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid independent LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) license is required; please note that limited or provisional licenses will not be accepted.
• Strong communication skills, with an ability to develop rapport with clients quickly.
• Proficiency in using technology and conducting sessions via online platforms.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach towards clients.

While not required, applicants with experience in teletherapy or a background in remote mental health counseling will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with online platform technologies and best practices in digital psychotherapy can enhance your effectiveness in this role.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, depending on hours worked, with the added benefit of a sign-on bonus. Full-time counselors are also eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend to support their well-being. Payments are made via weekly direct deposit, ensuring a steady and reliable income stream.
