Job description

Road Crew Member / Laborer

 

Pay:

  • $45/day per diem
  • Work Rate: $22.00 Per Hour
  • Non-Work Rate: $16.00 Per Hour (time spent on the job not performing work such as standby, passenger, etc.)
  • Driver: $17.00 Per Hour


Travel: Extensive travel required, including being away from home for 2–3 weeks at a time

Job Summary

The Crew Member/Laborer is responsible for covering and securing stockpiles using heavy-duty tarps, ropes, and sandbags. This position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • 2–3 weeks at a time travel
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work at heights and perform physical labor
  • Construction or general labor experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Cover and secure stockpiles with tarps, ropes, and sandbags
  • Move and handle heavy materials
