From Home Saddle Makers are skilled artisans who design, construct, and repair saddles and other leather tack for horses, working primarily from their own homes or personal workshops. They use specialized tools and techniques to shape, stitch, and finish leather, often customizing saddles to individual client or horse needs. Working from home allows for flexible hours and the ability to manage their own business, but also requires a strong understanding of both saddle-making and small business management. This role may involve communicating with clients remotely, sourcing quality materials, and handling shipping or local delivery of finished products.
