Physician - Primary Care
Job Details:
  • Full-time Academic Primary Care Physician role combining clinical and faculty responsibilities
  • Join the core faculty team for a newly established Rural Family Medicine Residency program
  • Shape the education of future rural family medicine physicians while providing direct patient care
  • 100% office-based, outpatient primary care setting serving patients from birth and up (no OB)
  • Full-time schedule, weekdays only, with a mix of precepting, patient care, and administrative time
  • Minimal call responsibilities averaging only 2 call weekends per year and 1 weeknight approximately every 2 months
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine required
  • Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license required (or eligible)
  • H1B cap-exempt organization
  • Streamlined access to Behavioral Health, High Risk Nurse Care Managers, and Social Workers
  • Each physician supported by their own Medical Assistant
  • EPIC with Dragon, Ambient AI integration, HIPAA-compliant texting, and patient self-scheduling
