About the Role:
Argan Home Care is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing home health team in Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, North Port, and Englewood FL. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by delivering high-quality, personalized care right in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for home health patients
  • Administer medications, wound care, IV therapy, and other skilled nursing treatments in the home setting
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed in coordination with the physician
  • Educate patients and family members on disease management, medications, and home safety
  • Accurately document patient care, clinical notes, and visit records in compliance with agency and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including therapists, social workers, and physicians
  • Respond to patient needs and changes in condition, escalating care when appropriate
Requirements:
  • Active Florida RN license in good standing
  • Previous home health, med-surg, or community nursing experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with OASIS documentation and Medicare/Medicaid home health guidelines a plus
  • Valid Florida driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable personal transportation
