Job description

12 Bed Semiprivate Bay Style Unit

Patients in this space are evaluated for discharge or movement to our observation unit for extended care, or converted to inpatient awaiting movement to an inpatient floor.

Orientation would occur on the home unit observation 2A. It is expected that there could be floating to observation 2A or into the ED for Medical Boarder Support.

JOB SUMMARY: As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Maryland Registered Nurse License 
  • American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification
