Job Description:

Registered Nurse position available in the D2 - Progressive Care Unit, focusing on clinical decision-making for patients. Candidates should be skilled in telemetry monitoring and possess progressive care experience. The role involves working in an inpatient overflow unit handling mixed levels of care including medical-surgical and step-down patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and care for patients using telemetry; all patients are hardwired to bedside monitors if telemetry is indicated.
  • Provide care within a patient ratio of 1:5/1:6 depending on the level of care.
  • Float to other units as required.

Requirements:

  • Telemetry competency
  • Progressive Care experience
