Job Summary
Our rapidly growing in-home senior care agency is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to conduct in-home assessments, meet with prospective clients as part of our growth efforts, and manage an assigned caseload following enrollment.
This role blends clinical expertise with relationship-building and is ideal for a self-directed RN who is comfortable meeting with families, managing a caseload, and working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Schedule & Workload
  • Flexible role with hours ranging from part-time (approximately 20-25 hours/week) to full-time, depending on caseload and availability
  • High-performing RNs may manage 50-70 active clients, with caseload size adjusted collaboratively to ensure sustainability
  • Routine RN visits are self-scheduled on a 30-day, 90-day, or as clinically indicated basis, or as directed by the Client Service Manager
  • Prospective client visits are scheduled by the office team using shared Google Calendar availability; flexible weekday availability and recurring availability blocks are required

This role is well-suited for an RN who enjoys autonomy and building their own caseload over time.
Training & Collaboration
  • One designated in-office day per week is required for onboarding, training, and participation in orientation-related activities
  • Additional in-office time may be required periodically based on agency needs
Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Oversight
  • Conduct in-home RN assessments throughout Richmond, VA and surrounding areas
  • Monitor and document changes in client condition
  • Develop and oversee individualized plans of care
  • Supervise and evaluate caregiver performance
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including care plan reviews and client conferences
  • Educate clients and families on disease processes, treatments, medications, and nutrition

Growth & Client Development
  • Conduct in-home visits with prospective clients and families
  • Serve as a clinical representative of the agency during prospect visits
  • Build and manage a caseload that includes enrolled clients and assigned referrals
  • Transition new clients into ongoing RN oversight

Documentation & Systems
  • Complete accurate, timely documentation using digital forms and agency software
  • Manage cases within defined productivity standards
Qualifications
  • Active RN license in the state of Virginia
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience (home health, senior care, or related field preferred)
  • Strong technology skills; ability to quickly learn new software systems
    (experience with Google Calendar, Adobe, electronic documentation, and agency platforms preferred)
  • Confident communicator comfortable meeting with prospective clients and families
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Comfortable working in homes with pets (cats and dogs)
