What is a from home reptile breeder?

A from home reptile breeder is someone who breeds reptiles, such as snakes, lizards, or turtles, from their own residence rather than a commercial facility. These breeders are responsible for the care, housing, and reproduction of reptiles, often specializing in certain species or morphs. They may sell the offspring to pet stores, hobbyists, or directly to customers. Home reptile breeders must ensure proper animal welfare, adhere to local regulations, and maintain healthy breeding conditions.
