This role requires a unique combination of clinical expertise and empathy, working with families in the comfort of their own homes as well as community settings. As a fully remote position, you will utilize telehealth technologies and online collaboration tools to connect with families. • Conduct comprehensive assessments in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to determine developmental needs and establish service goals for each child.
• Provide individualized early intervention services directly to infants and toddlers aged birth to three years, tailoring your approach to each child’s unique needs.
• Develop and facilitate Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) by identifying and outlining specific goals, objectives, and strategies for the child’s development.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation including progress notes, reports, and assessments to track the child’s developmental progress and the effectiveness of interventions.
• Offer both individual and group therapy, emphasizing developmental milestones across various domains such as cognitive, social-emotional, and language skills.
• Work closely with parents and caregivers, providing support and strategies to help them become effective advocates for their child's development.
• Regularly assess family strengths and concerns, involving them in the planning and monitoring of intervention strategies.
• Facilitate meaningful interactions between parents and children, fostering an environment that supports child development and family cohesion.

This role primarily focuses on infants and toddlers who are experiencing developmental delays or are at risk for such delays. You will work closely with their families, ensuring that they feel supported and empowered throughout the early intervention process. Your approach will be guided by the principles of family systems theory, which emphasizes the importance of understanding family dynamics in promoting child development.

• Must hold a current Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) credential.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage children, parents, and community collaborators in a therapeutic manner.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for maintaining clear documentation and family engagement.
• Commit to culturally responsive practices, ensuring that services are individualized and respectful of each family’s unique cultural background.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using electronic records systems to maintain documentation and manage caseloads efficiently.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to facilitate home visits when necessary.

• Experience working with young children and their families in an early intervention or clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of child development theories and family systems is essential.
