• Design and lead parent support groups, providing therapeutic environments where participants can share experiences, gain insights, and access crucial resources.

• Provide temperament counseling aimed at enhancing parent-child relationships, encouraging healthy communication and emotional regulation.

• Ensure meticulous and timely documentation of all client interactions and provided services to maintain compliance with organizational policies and effective tracking of client progress.

In this role, you will primarily serve families dealing with mental health challenges, including parents of children with emotional and behavioral disorders, those affected by developmental delays, and families facing complex dynamics due to substance exposure. Your expertise will guide them through critical interventions that enhance their well-being and quality of life.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program is required.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a healthcare setting, with a minimum of one year focused on mental health practice.
• An active and unrestricted Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) in California.
• A strong background in parent-child intervention techniques and knowledge in areas such as child development, parenting practices, and issues surrounding child abuse and neglect.
• Experience in clinical work, particularly in case management or social work within a social service or healthcare setting.

• Experience facilitating therapeutic programs for parents and children.
• Familiarity with evidence-based approaches in social work practice.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
