Job description

ABOUT KINSALE GOLF CLUB
Kinsale Golf Club is the preeminent private golf experience in Southwest Florida - a completely reimagined club built on a singular vision: the pure, unhurried enjoyment of the game.
Founded by Anthony Soave and designed by celebrated architects Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner, Kinsale opened in November 2024 on 174 acres of pristine North Naples land. Drawing inspiration from the Golden Age masters Seth Raynor and C.B. Macdonald, the course features 153 bunkers, fast and firm links-style conditions, and a walking-only format that places the member experience at the absolute center of every decision. With an intentionally limited membership of just 250 individuals, Kinsale is intimate by design - a place where every member is known by name and every visit feels like a return home.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly accomplished, charismatic hospitality professional to serve as the Director of Food & Beverage / Clubhouse Manager - the "face of the Clubhouse" at Kinsale Golf Club. This is not simply an operational role; it is a leadership presence. You will set the tone for every member interaction, ensuring that the warmth, elegance, and authenticity of the Kinsale experience is felt from the first cup of coffee to the final post-round conversation on the patio. The clubhouse experience at Kinsale is focused and refined: premium breakfast and lunch service, a vibrant patio culture, and carefully curated club events - all delivered at the highest level of private club hospitality. The club does not offer dinner service, allowing this leader to direct all energy toward perfecting the daytime and event experience. A luxury private club golf knowledge mindset is a key success factor. The ideal candidate understands the rhythm of a golf day, the expectations of passionate golfers, and the art of anticipating member needs before they are expressed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the visible, engaging "face of the Clubhouse," cultivating a culture of warmth and personalized service
  • Lead all hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management of F&B associates
  • Develop and maintain service standards, training programs, and pre-shift briefings aligned with the club's philosophy
  • Assume full ownership of departmental financial performance: payroll, beverage cost, and operating expenses
  • Strategically plan, design, and execute all F&B events, member functions, and seasonal programming
  • Oversee comprehensive inventory management for food, beverage, china, glassware, and silverware
  • Lead quarterly menu reviews and pricing strategy in collaboration with culinary leadership
  • Maintain advanced proficiency in F&B technology systems, including Jonas POS
  • Ensure all operations meet or exceed safety, sanitation, and health standards
  • Collaborate with the Director of Club Operations and all department leaders for seamless property operations
  • Analyze business trends to proactively adjust staffing, service models, and operational strategies
  • Lead seasonal planning, special projects, and recruiting initiatives during the off-season

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Education Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience 8-10 years of progressive F&B experience; minimum 5 years in a senior director-level role within a luxury private club, high-end resort, or upscale dining environment
  • Leadership Demonstrated success leading large teams including managers and supervisors; proven track record in succession planning and workforce development
  • Financial Acumen Proven success in budget development, financial accountability, cost control, and operational strategy
  • Technology Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Jonas POS, inventory systems, and data analytics tools
  • Certifications Florida Food Manager's Certificate (required); T.I.P.S. Certification (required); additional industry certifications preferred
  • Mindset Deep appreciation for private club culture, golf traditions, and the art of anticipatory, high-touch hospitality

CORE COMPETENCIES
  • Strategic Leadership
  • Financial Acumen
  • Team Development
  • Event Programming
  • Golf Hospitality Mindset
  • Member Relations
  • Operational Excellence
  • Executive Communication
  • Private Club Culture
  • Culinary Collaboration

WHY KINSALE?
Joining Kinsale Golf Club means becoming part of something genuinely rare - a newly reimagined institution where the pursuit of excellence is shared by every member of the team. You will work alongside top-tier professionals in an environment that values authentic hospitality, genuine camaraderie, and a deep respect for the traditions of the game. Located in the beautiful, vibrant community of Naples, Florida - consistently ranked among the nation's most desirable places to live - this role offers a career-defining opportunity to shape the culture of one of the most talked-about new private clubs in the country.
  • 250-member intimate club - every guest is known by name
  • Designed by Gil Hanse & Jim Wagner - world-class golf pedigree
  • Year-round position with a balanced seasonal structure
  • Naples, FL - one of America's premier luxury destinations
  • Soave Enterprises - a legacy of excellence in development
  • Walking-only, golf-first culture with a tightknit community

To inquire or apply, please submit your executive résumé and a cover letter detailing your philosophy on luxury private club hospitality.
