This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual, technical, and quality requirements.

If you enjoy working at the intersection of technology, transportation, systems integration, and customer engagement, we invite you to join our growing North American team. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across North America and Europe to deliver innovative solutions for customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of rail technology projects, including planning, execution, installation, commissioning, customer acceptance, and project closeout.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for customers, transit agencies, rail operators, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk registers, and status reports.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, software development, systems integration, manufacturing, logistics, installation, service, sales, and finance.

  • Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Ensure project deliverables align with contractual requirements, technical specifications, regulatory standards, and Televic's standard system architecture.

  • Lead customer meetings, project reviews, factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and project reporting activities.

  • Manage project risks, issues, change orders, and corrective actions to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Coordinate project documentation, reporting, invoicing milestones, and internal project governance activities.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project execution, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related technical field.

  • 5+ years of experience managing complex technical projects in rail transportation, transit systems, transportation infrastructure, communications systems, industrial automation, systems integration, or similar technical environments.

  • Proven ability to successfully lead engineering-to-order or customer-specific technical projects.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage customers, executives, and technical teams.

  • Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments.

  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, resources, and contractual deliverables.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.

  • Fluent in English. Additional languages such as Spanish, French, or Dutch are a plus.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.

  • Experience working with passenger information systems, public address systems, onboard communication systems, rail technologies, networking technologies, or transportation technology solutions.

  • Familiarity with rail industry standards, transportation projects, rolling stock manufacturers, transit agencies, or railway operators.

  • Experience working in international, cross-functional project environments.
