DevOps with Python Atlanta, GA

DevOps with Python Location: Atlanta, GA (onsite) Experience: 12+ Years Mandatory skills: Python Coding, DevOps, CI/CD We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with DevOps expertise to join our Algorithm Development team. This role involves improving the quality and performance of our code, developing automated testing frameworks, and designing CI/CD pipelines to ensure the seamless integration and deployment of our algorithms into our enterprise software systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation, along with excellent collaboration and communication skills. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Improve the existing Python codebase for better maintainability and performance.
  • Develop and implement automated unit and functional testing frameworks.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Collaborate with the algorithm development team to integrate into the broader software product.
  • Implement monitoring solutions and troubleshoot problems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering and DevOps roles.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools and infrastructure code tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS: When duties are performed in a typical office environment, extended periods of sitting at a desk and viewing a computer screen will be required. Also required is the ability to talk and hear, in person and by telephone; use of hands to handle, feel, or operate standard office equipment; and ability to reach with hands and arms. Additional safety clothing including gloves, hardhats, and devices to protect eyes, mouth, or hearing, will be worn as necessary.
