As a software engineer, you know that good software is more than just a nice-looking interface + data. You need the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user-focused solution. We’re looking for a software engineer like you to lead a team as they develop efficient and effective software, from vision to production-ready system, in an exciting, agile environment.

As a seasoned software engineer at EverWatch, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver complete end-to-end solutions to your clients. Using your software engineering expertise, you’ll analyze the environment to ensure that your team’s solutions consider the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You’ll share your skills as your team utilizes new tools and techniques while helping to identify and implement system improvements.

You Have:  

• Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements
• Experience reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results
• Experience providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components
• Experience with Java including; Springboot, Swing/GUI development, SON serialization and deserialization, knowledge of marshalling JSON objects to and from POJOs, implementing robust solutions using Jackson or gson and Testing with JUNIT and Mockito
• Experience with Python including; proficiency with Python standard libraries, and familiarity with Python data science packages
• Experience developing with Containerization (docket) and Kubernetes
• Experience with Gitlab experience
• Experience with Niagara Files programing
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
•  Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, or High school diploma and 11+ years of experience as a software engineer

• Experience with UI Development

Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55.36 to $79.33 per hour.  The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch’s total compensation package for employees.
