Job description

Overview

Stellar is seeking an SAP Developer / Power Platform Integration Developer to help design and deliver scalable automation solutions that connect Microsoft Power Platform with SAP environments.

This role is ideal for a developer with strong SAP technical expertise who enjoys building robust integrations, exposing SAP business logic through reusable services, and ensuring solutions are designed for enterprise-scale performance from the start. You will work closely with Stellar architects, developers, and project leaders to build automation workflows that are not only functional, but durable, maintainable, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and support integrations between SAP and Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and related services
  • Build and enhance custom BAPIs, RFC-enabled functions, and API-based integrations to expose SAP data and business logic in scalable, reusable ways
  • Partner with technical and delivery teams to architect automation solutions that can support high transaction volumes and enterprise performance requirements
  • Contribute to end-to-end solution design, including integration architecture, error handling, data flow strategy, and scalability planning
  • Help ensure SAP-connected workflows are resilient, supportable, and aligned with long-term maintainability standards
  • Collaborate across multiple client engagements and internal teams as Stellar scales its SAP and automation capabilities
  • Document technical designs, integration patterns, and development decisions to support knowledge sharing and delivery consistency
  • Troubleshoot and optimize integration performance, including considerations such as batching, rate limits, throughput, and system constraints
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP development, including work with custom BAPIs, RFCs, and SAP integration patterns
  • Experience exposing SAP functionality and data for consumption by external applications and workflow platforms
  • Understanding of enterprise integration design principles, including reusability, extensibility, performance, and long-term supportability
  • Familiarity with Power Platform — including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse — is strongly preferred
  • Experience with API-based integrations and an understanding of common integration challenges in enterprise environments
  • Ability to think beyond proof-of-concept solutions and design for real production scale
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
  • Self-starter mindset with a desire to grow, solve complex problems, and contribute in a fast-moving consulting environment
What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means building SAP integration solutions that are scalable, reliable, and thoughtfully designed for enterprise use. You will help Stellar deliver automation that performs in real-world production settings — not just in demos or pilots. You will also play an important role in strengthening our internal integration capabilities as we grow.

Compensation

Competitive and commensurate with experience.
