Nutrition & Informatics ManagerLuby’s Culinary Services is seeking a Nutrition Information Systems Manager to join the team. As the Nutrition Information Systems Manager, you will manage all aspects of our technology platform/menu management system from the planning, building, testing, and implementing stages of technology projects. Additionally, you will support Luby’s Patient Services program which involves user training for menu management tools for success in patient and retail services.Responsibilities as the Nutrition Information Systems Manager:Manage all aspects of the menu management software from the planning, building, testing, and implementing stages of a project such as Allergy Interface, B2B, Floor Stock, and room and cost center builds, and recipe management.Menu Development Support: Ongoing development and implementation with patient menus for Clients.Work with corporate dietitians and chefs to support menu creation in technology platforms.Provide ongoing technology training with end users in all accounts.Liaison between menu management software vendor, Luby’s IT, Food Vendors, and Clients.Troubleshoot issues related to menu management software in regards to servers, networks, mobile devices, and web services.Assist with company IT on product purchases feasible for technology platforms.Create and maintain menu software user manuals.Collaborates with all corporate team members in utilizing technology platforms to improve business goals.Collaborates with Luby’s Leadership and clients to work on initiatives for Patient Services.Provides patient services support during account openings. Provide training for staff on menu software tools for success: recipes, production sheets, and meal ordering (call center/bedside).Inputs ingredients and other pertinent nutrition information to support retail programs using technology platforms.REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in position.Registered Dietitian preferred.Minimum 3 years of successful food service management/supervisory experience.Time management skills including the ability to manage multiple processes and tasks simultaneously.Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and personal drive to meet and exceed objectives.Demonstrated experience with technology.Knowledge of contract food service including Healthcare, Business & Industry and Higher Education.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include presentations and public speaking.Experienced in client relationship development and management.Conducts self in a positive and professional manner.Maintains trusting, positive, and professional relationships with colleagues, clients, consultants, and vendors.Ability to travel 25% of the time.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONThis job posting contains some general information about what it is like to work at Pappas Restaurants and is not a complete job description.
