Job description

The Basics: 
Location: Roosevelt, UT

Compensation: $52,500 to $55,000 per year DOE

Days/Hours: 5 pm to 5 am, 7 days on; 7 days off

What you will be doing:

  • This position is Night shift – 7 Days on/ 7 Days off  
  • Create and maintain dispatch to meet customer demand and contract needs by efficiently utilizing equipment and available personnel. Monitor real-time conditions and customers' needs through constant communication with customer personnel and Ops. Manager and data observed from the trucks' on-board data collection devices
  • Build a strong rapport with drivers and communicate with them such that their objective is known
  • Fulfill other duties assigned by Ops. Manager to meet necessary business objectives and contractual obligations
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with oil companies, truck drivers, and the refinery
  • Check the driver's completion of paperwork, as well as accurately record the data into the designated information system
  • Anticipate the needs of those you support and complete assigned tasks with a high degree of accuracy and minimal direction
  • Commit to safe work practices through situational awareness, following standard operating procedures, receiving feedback, and watching out for the health and wellness of others
  • Maintain and disseminate required reports to management and customer
  • Verify accuracy on all reports by validating daily/weekly for invoices and payroll.

What you need to be successful:

  • Experience in a fast-paced, data management, customer service environment, is preferred 
  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Uinta Basin Oilfield dispatch experience preferred
  • Proficient Excel skills with an ability to create and manipulate intermediate-level functions
  • Able to maintain good relationships with customers and coworkers
  • Problem-solving and can think outside of the box, and can grasp the big picture in a chain of events
  • Positive attitude; treats others with fairness and respect – expects the same in return
  • Is honest in dealings with the company, team members, and customers
