Summary of Position: The Network Engineer is responsible for architecture, support, routing, switching, documentation, troubleshooting, transport topologies, network hardware, security, VoIP, customer relations, and all services within the infrastructure. It will provide the client with expert network design and daily operational support of the enterprise-wide network, including participation in planning, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination.

Essential Functions:

Provide network administration for enterprise-wide support, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination of the Client's local and wide area networksPlan, install, and maintain network equipment, security devices, and related hardware and software to maintain optimal performance and operationAssist in data center installs, provision network access ports and physical cable infrastructure for data center systemsEnsures LAN/WAN environments are secure, and appropriate recovery and redundancy issues are addressed.

Physical Demands:

This role requires physical capabilities that support the successful execution of key responsibilities. The employee regularly engages in verbal and written communication with colleagues and clients to address project-related inquiries and must be able to convey accurate information clearly and efficiently. The position involves remaining seated at a workstation for approximately 75% of the time, with occasional movement throughout the office to access equipment, supplies, and shared resources. Daily tasks include consistent use of computers and standard office technology such as keyboards, printers, and multifunction devices. The role also involves transporting equipment boxes weighing up to 25 pounds within the building and to other offsite locations as needed for project support.

Education and Experience:
