Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Group Home (MN DHS 245D)


We are currently hiring aDirect Support Professional (DSP)to join our team in a supportive group home setting. If you're compassionate, reliable, and enjoy making a difference in people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.


Starting Wage:$16.00/hour

  • +$0.50/hour shift differential for 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM shifts
  • +$0.25/hour after 30 days (upon completion of training)
  • +$0.25/hour after 90 days (based on good standing)


Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents withActivities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Providehousekeeping and general home support
  • Assist withmeal preparation and planning
  • Performmedication administration(per MN DHS guidelines)
  • Providetransportation to outings, appointments, and activities
  • Complete accuratedocumentation and charting
  • Support individuals in achievingpersonal goals and care plans
  • Work collaboratively with team members and maintain a positive environment


Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow MN DHS245D guidelines and procedures
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Dependable, patient, and compassionate
  • Willingness to complete required training
  • Willingness tocross-trainin other roles or homes as needed
  • Valid driver's license (for transportation duties) preferred
