Position Description: Responsible for management, performance, and completion of patient facing recreational and educational LEGO-based projects. Using the materials and recourses to provide STEAM based projects to children in their hospital rooms. Work in close collaboration with the Child life department to provide bedside LEGO robotics, facilitate positive interactions with patients, and sanitize all materials to hospital standards. Essential Job Duties:Work directly with patients, families, and staff to provide direction, support and educational knowledge that enhance the patient experience.Deliver interactive activities to the patients in a fun and engaging manner.Ensure that patients are using materials safely and in the intended manner.Ensure that all equipment is sanitized and safe.Acquire knowledge of our company and programs.Represent Buildup STEAM both on and off-site.Provide activities to as many patients as possible.Interact with patients, families and staff in a friendly manner.Maintain the quality of the cart, kits and all materials.Minimum Requirements:Bachelors degree (in progress).
