Job description

Responsibilities
The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for independently performing, interpreting and correlating clinical laboratory tests to assist physician diagnosis and treatment. This role performs testing according to policies and procedures and provides clinical laboratory testing expertise to include problem solving.

Qualifications
Required for Medical Laboratory Technician:
  • Diploma
  • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT license) within 9 months of hire.

Required for Medical Laboratory Scientist:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • One of: Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Molecular Biology (MB), Specialist in Microbiology (SM), or Technologist in Microbiology (M) within 9 months of hire.
