Job description

Job Summary (Java/Automation Engineer – Tampa, FL)
- Support migration of a legacy CPQ platform from C# to Java/React.
- Work within an API-driven architecture, integrating and orchestrating existing services.
- Utilize and contribute to detailed documentation (API mappings, system interactions, integration points).
- Stabilize and assist in production deployment of the modernized application.
- Design and develop automated test frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
- Build and execute automated test suites to validate application functionality.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps workflows.
- Perform both manual testing and transition to automation.
- Collaborate with teams to support application modernization and migration initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Strong Java development experience.
- Experience with APIs, system integrations, and service-based architectures.
- Understanding of SDLC and deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright).
- Background in manual testing with a move into automation.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and automated testing in CI/CD environments.
- Experience supporting application modernization or migration projects.
