Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health (In-Office)

Location: Covina, CA Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and organized Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing Home Health agency in an in-office role. This position plays a vital part in supporting clinical operations, ensuring quality assurance compliance, coordinating supplies, and assisting with staff training.

The ideal candidate has home health experience, strong knowledge of regulatory standards, and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Clinical Support Review and process home health clinical documentation (OASIS knowledge preferred)

Assist with care coordination between field nurses, therapists, and physicians

Review physician orders for accuracy and completeness

Support case managers with patient care follow-up

Ensure timely documentation and EMR compliance

Quality Assurance (QA)

Perform chart audits to ensure compliance with Medicare and state regulations

Review OASIS documentation for accuracy and completeness

Assist with ADRs, survey preparedness, and compliance initiatives

Identify documentation deficiencies and provide corrective guidance

Training & Staff Support

Assist with onboarding and training of field clinicians

Provide education on documentation standards and agency policies

Support ongoing training related to home health regulations and best practices

Serve as a clinical resource for field staff

Medical Supplies & Inventory

Manage medical supply inventory for field clinicians

Coordinate ordering and vendor communication

Ensure proper tracking and distribution of supplies and equipment

Daily Operations

Support Administrator and Director of Nursing with daily clinical oversight

Communicate with physicians’ offices regarding orders and documentation

Participate in case conferences and quality improvement meetings

Qualifications

Current, active RN license in the state of CA

Minimum 1–2 years of home health experience preferred

OASIS and Medicare documentation experience highly preferred

Knowledge of home health regulations and compliance standards

Experience with EMR systems (Axxess Home Health)

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
