Pay: $130k – $140k per year base + bonus / commission potential

Air Experts, in partnership with American Residential Services (ARS) is the nation’s largest provider of residential HVAC, heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical services, employing over 7,000 professionals nationwide. With more than 45 years of experience, ARS delivers trusted home comfort solutions and top-quality service to homeowners every day.

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of In-Home HVAC Sales Advisors (Comfort Advisors). This role focuses on driving residential HVAC system replacement sales, heating and air conditioning upgrades, and home comfort solutions while coaching advisors to maximize performance and conversion.

Responsibilities

As an HVAC Sales Manager overseeing In-Home Sales Advisors, you will lead the residential HVAC sales team and drive revenue growth through system replacement and upgrade opportunities.
  • Lead, train, and manage a team of In-Home HVAC Sales Advisors (Comfort Advisors)

  • Drive revenue growth and conversion performance for residential and light commercial HVAC sales

  • Coach advisors on HVAC system design, equipment options, energy efficiency, and solution-based selling

  • Monitor sales performance, closing ratios, and average ticket metrics

  • Collaborate with installation, service, and operations teams to ensure successful HVAC system replacements

  • Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing HVAC sales professionals

  • Lead weekly sales meetings and provide ongoing coaching on strategy, product knowledge, and selling techniques

  • Track and present accurate sales reports and performance metrics to senior leadership

  • Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the HVAC sales and installation process


Qualifications

What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum 3 years of in-home sales management experience (HVAC industry preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC products, heating and air conditioning systems, system design, and installations

  • Experience as an HVAC technician or system designer is a plus

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Highly metric-driven mindset with focus on sales performance and measurable results

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred

  • Strong math skills including basic geometry and load-related calculations

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a high-performing sales team
