Job description

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a talented and motivated Go Developer to join our growing team. As a Go Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance and scalable applications using the Go programming language. This is a full-time, remote position, allowing for a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality and efficient applications using the Go programming language

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

- Continuously improve and optimize application performance

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- 3+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years of experience in Go development

- Strong proficiency in the Go programming language

- Familiarity with common Go frameworks and libraries

- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

- Knowledge of database design and SQL

- Experience with version control systems, such as Git
