Job Description:
The Instructor or Assistant Professor of English is responsible for the development and instruction of course materials in the field of English, both on campus and online, and is capable of teaching freshman and sophomore college-level courses.
Job Responsibilities:
65% Instruct college level English courses and English support courses
20% Office hours and advising
10% Committee Work/University Service
5% Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's in English or related field
OR Master's degree in unrelated field plus 18 credit hours in related English field from a regionally accredited institution.
College level instruction in English. Background in folklore beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in English or related field
3 years College level instruction in English. Background in folklore beneficial.
Salary Range: $45,000.00-$55,000.00
