This RN position supports Employee Occupational Health Services (EOHS) and is an onsite role located at the IU Health Ft Wayne Hospital. Primary responsibilities include onboarding and health clearance for new hires, completing transfer assessments, coordinating and managing return-to-work processes for team members on leave, administering and managing the annual flu program, and collaborating closely with leaders and partnered departments. The role also involves managing communicable disease exposures and blood and body fluid exposure incidents. This RN will work independently, with support available from IUH Ball Hospital Employee Health as needed.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm | Training will take place at IUH Ball Hospital Employee Health Services in Muncie, Indiana.

No Holidays! No weekends except maybe one Saturday a year during flu shot season.

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
