We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Specialty Clinic Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at Cherry County Hospital, Valentine NE. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care in a supportive and collaborative environment. If you're a motivated RN with a passion for patient-centered care, we'd love to hear from you.
Position Summary
As a Specialty Clinic Registered Nurse, you will deliver comprehensive nursing care by applying your professional knowledge, critical thinking, and clinical skills. You'll work closely with physicians and care teams to support exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care and respond effectively in emergency situations.
  • Document patient conditions and procedures accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Collaborate professionally with physicians/providers to ensure quality care.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Uphold corporate compliance and hospital policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Specialty Clinic Manager.
Qualifications
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree required.
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Nebraska.
  • Strong communication, judgment, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adapt to changing clinical situations.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and ethical standards.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and position patients and work in a physically and emotionally demanding environment.
  • Requires agility to move around patients and equipment, and dexterity for operating medical tools and communication devices.
  • Exposure to hazardous materials and potential strain from repetitive tasks.
  • Must follow universal precautions and safety protocols at all times.
