About the Role:
CQI Home Inspections is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Home Inspector to join our growing team in Hollywood, MD. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough residential home inspections including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Prepare and deliver detailed, accurate inspection reports in a timely manner
  • Communicate findings clearly and professionally to clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders
  • Inspect roofing, foundation, HVAC, insulation, windows, and other key home components
  • Identify safety hazards, code concerns, and maintenance issues during inspections
  • Maintain and operate inspection tools and equipment properly
  • Stay current with industry standards, building codes, and best practices
Requirements:
  • Valid Maryland Home Inspector license 
  • Experience in home inspection, construction, contracting, or a related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of residential building systems and construction methods
  • InterNACHI or ASHI certification is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with inspection report software and mobile technology
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to inspection sites throughout the Southern Maryland area
  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and customer service orientation
