Wood is recruiting for an Accountant II in Houston, TX to work within a Wood client office. This is contract position with possibility for extension. The Accountant II, will be a member of the Client's Marketing Accounting team, reporting to the Marketing Accounting Supervisor: This position will be on a hybrid schedule working in the client office Monday, Wednesday & Thursday and working from home on Tuesday and Friday. Workday is 7:30 to 5:30 Monday-Thursday and 7:30 to 11:30 on Friday.
**Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.
Brief List of Duties:
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
3-5 years of professional accounting experience in the oil and gas industry; An Accounting degree with a minimum of 12 completed accounting hours; Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; Knowledge and experience with Endur a plus; Marketing accounting experience a plus; Outstanding communication, interpersonal, management, administrative, organizational, and leadership skills; and Experience implementing sound decisions when faced with multi-faceted problems.
