Sustainment/Pre-Production Lead (EMU/EMF)- PA-08-7211

Position Summary

RBCI is seeking a Sustainment/Pre-Production Lead (ERSS/ERCS) to provide the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) with a broad range of supply chain and logistics functions in a warehouse environment. This work is onsite at the Williamsburg, VA office.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee sustainment and preโ€‘production operations for EMU and EMF platforms, ensuring full medical facility readiness for deployment.
  • Direct planning and execution of largeโ€‘scale material pulls, preparation, preโ€‘labeling, and platformโ€‘based stowage to support future production and sustainment cycles.
  • Ensure EMU platforms supporting Role 2โ€“level medical care remain properly configured to provide limited surgery, labs, imaging, and pharmacy services.
  • Sustain EMF platforms providing fullโ€‘service medical capability, including surgery, ICU, inpatient wards, labs, radiology, pharmacy, and dentistry.
  • Coordinate replacement of expiring or expired material, reโ€‘kitting of lateโ€‘arriving components, and resolution of shortages or overages across multiple functional areas.
  • Supervise sustainment activities spanning medical equipment, consumables, infrastructure, utilities, and support systems.
  • Maintain platformโ€‘based stowage to ensure rapid deployment, accountability, and configuration accuracy.
  • Oversee containerization, staging, and movement of large, heavy, and containerized assets.
  • Supervise assigned personnel, managing workflow across highโ€‘volume, multiโ€‘disciplinary material sets.
  • Ensure all sustainment and preโ€‘production actions are accurately recorded in authorized property and logistics systems.
  • Operate and oversee material handling equipment used in staging and movement of EMU/EMF assets.
  • Coordinate with Production, Inventory, Shelfโ€‘Life, HAZMAT, Biomedical, and Government representatives to ensure operational alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, handling, and operational standards.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience leading staff and executing sustainment or preโ€‘production operations for preventive medicine, laboratory, or diagnostic support systems.
  • Experience managing regulated, sensitive, or shelfโ€‘lifeโ€‘controlled material.
  • Experience performing sustainment actions, including replacement of expired material and integration of lateโ€‘arriving components.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to compliance, documentation accuracy, and configuration control.
  • Capable of operating various types of material handling equipment.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and be capable of operating standโ€‘up and 4,000โ€“6,000 lb forklifts.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
