Job Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical service on Bobcat equipment and attachments.
  • Diagnose and repair basic electrical and electronic systems.
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engine mechanical and management systems (diesel fuel injection).
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulics and hydraulic controls.
  • Document diagnostic steps and repair steps performed to create a job story on the equipment.
  • Utilize computer diagnostic systems and tools to identify problems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Complete on-line Bobcat University courses to advance knowledge that assist in understanding Bobcat systems.
  • Interact with other team members to provide the best service possible to the customer.

Requirements:

Some essentials to be qualified

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience repairing compact construction or related equipment or trucks/vehicles in professional or personal setting.
  • Some technical training (degree or certificate) preferred but not required
  • An interest or passion to tinker and fix cars, trucks, equipment, etc. and can diagnose problems.
  • Basic tool inventory.
  • Ability to read and follow electrical and schematics and use computerized diagnostic systems.
  • A strong work ethic including being punctual and dependable.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing, bending, reaching, crouching, etc.)
  • Satisfactory results of a criminal background screening

  • Highly Sought After Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm! No weekends!
  • Work Location: Bobcat of Boston, 20 Concord Street, North Reading, MA
  • All of Our Locations: Bobcat of New Hampshire (Chichester, NH and Hudson, NH), Bobcat of Cape Cod (Bourne, MA), Bobcat of South Shore (Bridgewater, MA) and Bobcat of Boston (North Reading, MA)
  • Pay: $26-$38/hour (42.5 hour workweek) (entry-level through advanced encouraged to apply). Remember, great benefits are also part of your total compensation.
  • Benefits enrollment is first of month following 30 days of employment.
  • Benefits: Health Insurance (100% company paid for Employee, 75% for 2-Person and Family coverage), Health Reimbursement Account with generous company contribution toward deductible, Dental (50% company paid), Life Insurance (100% company paid), Vision (100% employee paid), 401(k) Retirement Plan with generous 100% match up to 4% of annual salary.
