Job Summary
The Data Engineer will partner with a wide range of business units to implement analytical and data solutions that drive business value and enhance customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, storing, processing, analyzing, and modeling large datasets, as well as building data-driven applications. The primary focus will be on building, implementing, monitoring, and integrating scalable analytical solutions with the architecture used across the organization.
How You'll Shine
- Pipeline Development: Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain stable, secure, and scalable data engineering solutions and pipelines, including integrating new sources into our central data warehouse and moving data out to applications and affiliates.
- Platform Management: Maintain, monitor, and optimize our analytics data warehouses and overall data platform.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Support: Deliver hands-on development, deployment, maintenance, and support for a variety of cloud and on-premise solutions, web service infrastructures, and supporting technologies.
- Automation: Produce scalable, replicable code and engineering solutions to automate repetitive data management tasks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with project managers, business analysts, data scientists, and key stakeholders to translate functional business requirements into technical specifications and ensure data infrastructure meets business needs.
- Strategic Thinking: Maintain a critical eye on our technical strategy, proactively identifying performance gaps and designing creative solutions.

Education & Core Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science required (Master's degree preferred).
- Certifications: Snowflake and Python certifications are highly preferred, but not required.
- Professional Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail, systemic thinking, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
Technical Experience & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of related data engineering or IT experience.
- Big Data & Cloud (1+ years): Proven experience with the Apache Spark framework, Hadoop, Java/Scala, Python, and AWS architecture.
- Development & .NET (1+ years): Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, VB.Net) and designing, developing, and deploying Windows and Web applications.
- Database & Data Modeling (2+ years): Experience in data modeling and database development using PL/SQL, SQL Server (2016 or later), and Snowflake. Strong working knowledge of relational databases and query authoring (SQL).
- Data Integration & ETL (1+ years): Proven experience building data pipelines, APIs, and ETL flows in cloud and on-premise environments using tools like Snowpipe, Informatica, Airflow, and Kafka.
- Analytical Capabilities: A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected, or unstructured datasets, alongside the ability to perform root-cause analysis on data processes to identify business opportunities.
A strong team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
